Upendra, an actor-director, is all set to release his highly anticipated directorial project, UI, in October in multiple languages. This marks his return to directing after Uppi 2. The film features Reeshma Nanaiah as the female lead and is produced by G Manoharan and KP Srikanth. Upendra expressed his excitement about the upcoming release date, stating that the film deviates from usual cinematic norms by incorporating cutting-edge VFX and focusing on rich content filled with symbolism to captivate and challenge viewers throughout. The VFX for the movie is being finalized in Bengaluru and Vancouver to fully engage audiences in the UI universe. Additionally, the background score by Ajaneesh B Loknath, composed in Budapest, aims to elevate the film further. Producer K P Srikanth mentioned that the team is aiming to leverage the festive season in October to provide an exceptional cinematic experience.
